J.C. Primm scored 20 points to lead four Bulldogs in double figures as UNC Asheville routed Utah 87-65 Saturday night.

In the Battle 4 Atlantis seventh-place game, UNC Asheville led 41-34 at halftime but broke open the game in the second half. The Bulldogs (3-4) outscored Utah 46-31 after the break, sending the Utes (1-5) to their fifth straight loss under new coach Larry Krystkowiak.

Utah was within 53-48 five minutes into the second half before UNC Asheville went on a 12-0 run.

Matt Dickey, who had 15 points for the Bulldogs, has scored in double figures in all seven games this season. Chris Stephenson added 16 points and Jeremy Atkinson had 14.

UNC Asheville hit nine 3-pointers while Utah was 3 for 18 from beyond the arc. Josh Watkins and Jason Washburn led the Utes with 21 points each.
