Chris Stephenson scored a career-high 33 points to go with 10 rebounds and North Carolina-Asheville defeated Radford 62-56 on Monday night.
Stephenson made 12 of 19 from the field to help the Bulldogs shoot 44.7 percent (21 for 47).
Bulldogs' coach Eddie Biedenbach won his 224th game at the school to become North Carolina-Asheville's all-time winningest coach. The Bulldogs (8-6, 3-0) have won six of their past eight games and eight Big South Conference games in a row dating back to last season.
The game was tied 54-54 with 4:05 remaining but the Bulldogs finished on a 12-2 run, including eight by Stephenson.
Radford made only 9 of 30 field goals in the first half on its way to shooting 36.1 percent (22 of 61) from the field.
R.J. Price scored 13 points and Javonte Green added 11 for the Highlanders (3-13, 0-4), who have lost 12 straight.
