Unbeaten UConn women remain No. 1 in AP poll

Connecticut remains No. 1 in The Associated Press poll Monday after two easy wins this week.

UConn improved to 30-0 after routing SMU and Rutgers. The Huskies have won 36 straight games dating back to last season, the third-longest streak in school history. Connecticut will visit No. 3 Louisville on Monday night.

Notre Dame stays unanimous at No. 2. The Irish finished off their regular season unbeaten after beating North Carolina and N.C. State.

Stanford and South Carolina flipped places to round out the first five.

Tennessee, West Virginia, Maryland, Baylor and Duke follow the Gamecocks.

DePaul re-entered the poll at No. 25 after winning its first Big East regular-season title this weekend. Arizona State dropped out.
