Reggie Chamberlain scored 22 points and made eight free throws in the final 58 seconds of overtime to lead UMKC to a 64-58 victory against Wofford in the Chicago Invitational Challenge on Friday.
Trinity Hall added 16 points and Estan Tyler eight points and six rebounds for the Kangaroos (2-4). Tyler's 3-pointer helped UMKC build a five-point lead in overtime, and Chamberlain protected it at the line.
Brad Loesing scored 20 points and Lee Skinner 13 for the Terriers (2-3).
Chamberlain was vital in forcing the extra period, scoring the last four points of regulation on two free throws and a layup to knot the score at 49-49.
