Marcus Jordan scored 18 points and grabbed eight rebounds and Central Florida's late stout defense lifted the Knights to a 68-65 win over Houston on Tuesday night.

UCF (13-12, 5-6 Conference USA) held Houston without a field goal over the final 3:29 of the game.

Adam Brown missed a 3-pointer at the buzzer for the Cougars that would have tied the game. But his miss was able to let the Knights beat Houston (13-12, 5-6) for the second time this season.

With Houston trailing 68-65, Aubrey Coleman missed the front end of a 1-and-1 with 8.7 seconds remaining. UCF rebounded and the Cougars were forced to foul.
