UC Santa Barbara rolls to 69-54 win over CS Fullerton

FULLERTON, Calif. (AP) Gabe Vincent scored 19 points as UC Santa Barbara rolled to a 69-54 win over Cal State Fullerton on Saturday night.

Alan Williams added 15 points for the Gauchos (14-12, 7-5 Big West Conference). Michael Bryson had 14 points and DaJuan Smith chipped in eight.

Vincent, Bryson, Smith and Mitch Brewe combined for a total of six 3-pointers during the first half to help UC Santa Barbara climb to a 49-30 lead at halftime.

Early in the second half, Bryson sank a 3-pointer and a layup and Williams hit a jumper to give the Gauchos their biggest lead, 56-32, with 17:22 to play. CS Fullerton clawed back to trail by 11, 61-49, on a 3-pointer by Jordan Mason with 11:02 remaining but the Titans (9-18, 1-11) scored only two field goals after that and the Gauchos rolled to the win.

Lanerryl Johnson scored 15 points for CS Fullerton.
