Regis Huddleston scored a career-high 26 points Tuesday night as Troy snapped a nine-game losing streak with a 102-99 overtime victory over Western Michigan.

Huddleston buried three 3-point baskets in overtime and Bernard Toombs hit two free throws in the final 20 seconds to give the Trojans (2-9) the win.

The game was the opening matchup of the World Vision Invitational, hosted by Utah State University.

Toombs had 17 points for Troy, while Vernon Taylor added 16 before leaving with an injury. Shawntez Patterson had 14 and Will Weathers 12.

Juwan Howard Jr. led Western Michigan (5-5) with 24 points, and Demetrius Ward added 21, including a 3-pointer with 8.8 seconds left in regulation to send the game into overtime tied at 85. Howard scored eight straight points to pull the Broncos within 85-82, setting up Ward's shot.

Flenard Whitfield had 17 points for Western Michigan.
