RaShawn Polk scored 17 points, including a tiebreaking 3-pointer with 17 seconds left in overtime, as Towson defeated Georgia State 74-69 on Saturday.

After Polk gave the Tigers (7-18, 4-11 Colonial Athletic Association) a 72-69 lead, Jihad Ali missed a 3-point try for the Panthers (10-17, 4-11) with 5 seconds left.

Polk also put Towson ahead 63-61 on a jumper with 14 seconds left in regulation, but two free throws by Georgia State's Ousman Krubally tied it with 4 seconds left.

A layup by Krubally with 2:16 in overtime tied the game for the 12th time, 69-69, but he was called for an offensive foul away from the ball with 1:01 left and Georgia State seemingly about to take the lead on a transition basket.
