Southern California coach Kevin O'Neill has promoted Tony Miller to men's basketball assistant.

Miller joined USC's staff last season as the strength and conditioning manager. He played at Marquette from 1991-95 under O'Neill before playing professionally for 12 years in Europe.

Earlier this month, O'Neill fired assistants Gib Arnold and Phil Johnson, who were holdovers from Tim Floyd's staff. Arnold has since become head coach at Hawaii.
