Ryan White scored 26 points, 21 in the second half, as Texas State held off Southeastern Louisiana 72-68 in a Southland Conference tournament first-round game on Wednesday night.

Tony Bishop's two free throws with 10 seconds remaining sealed it for No. 4 seed Texas State (16-15), which will play No. 1 seed McNeese State in the semifinals on Thursday night.

White was 4 of 8 from 3-point range and 8 for 8 at the free throw line for the Bobcats. Tony Bishop added 18 points and Cameron Johnson scored 14 points and had four steals for Texas State.

Southeastern Louisiana (15-14) was led by Trent Hutchin's 15 points. David Ndoumba added 12 points and 10 rebounds for the fifth-seeded Lions, who led 33-28 at halftime. Jason Marks added 11 points and DeShawn Patterson had 10 for SLU.
