Travis Jones had 23 points and 11 rebounds to lead Texas State to a 103-76 victory over Houston Baptist on Saturday.
The Bobcats (5-2) blistered the nets all game long, hitting 61 percent from the field - and 63 percent (10 of 16) from 3-point range. Jones and Eddie Rios both went 3-for-3 on 3-pointers. Rios finished with 17 points.
Texas State raced to a 56-30 halftime lead as Jones scored 19 of his points before the break.
Matt Staff added 11 points and John Bowman scored 10 for the Bobcats.

Art Bernardi led the Huskies (2-6) with 20 points. Ronald March added 14 points and Tyler Russell scored 12 for Houston Baptist.
