Jordan Sims went 8 for 8, including seven 3-pointers, and scored 26 points Wednesday night as UTSA routed Jarvis Christian 115-49.

Melvin Johnson III made five 3-pointers and scored 23 points for the Roadrunners (13-7), who have won four in a row and seven of eight. Jeromie Hill scored 18 and Kannon Burrage 12.

Cedrick Richardson's 22 points led the Bulldogs (4-13), who play in the NAIA.

The Roadrunners came within two points of the school record for margin of victory, 68, set in a 136-68 victory over East Central in 2008.

UTSA shot 61.2 percent (41 of 67) and went 54.8 percent on 3-pointers (17 of 31). Jarvis Christian was limited to 23.8 percent (15 of 63).

The Roadrunners scored the first eight points, and the gap reached 20 when Burrage's layup made it 36-16 with 8:18 left in the first half. UTSA was ahead 54-26 at intermission.
