Jamal Robertson hit a 3-pointer with 3 seconds left and Texas College of the NAIA defeated Louisiana-Lafayette 77-74 on Sunday.

The Steers (6-4) led 74-72 with 20 seconds left before Randell Daigle's layup tied it at 74 with 11.3 seconds to play. It was the 17th tie in a game that saw 18 lead changes. Neither team led by more than six points.

Texas College scored 20 points off of 16 turnovers and shot 50.9 percent from the field (27 of 53). The Ragin' Cajuns (1-6) shot just 39.1 percent (27 of 69), including going 12 of 33 in the second half (36.4 percent).

Jacobie Bias had 15 points to lead five Texas College players in double figures. Robertson and Taylor Marshall finished with 13 points each, LaDarren Williams had 12 points and Jeremy McCarty 11.

J.J. Thomas had 15 points and 11 rebounds to lead the Ragin' Cajuns, who lost their sixth straight.
