LaMarcus Reed scored 17 points, including 4 for 4 from the free-throw line in the game's final 20 seconds, helping Texas-Arlington pull away to beat Stephen F. Austin 63-54 Saturday night.

Stephen F. Austin (9-8, 3-1 Southland), which had not led since the 12:57 mark of the first half, tied the game at 38-all on a layup by Taylor Smith with 10:41 left in the game. Texas-Arlington (12-5, 5-0) held the Lumberjacks scoreless until 5:05 remained, but scored only six points during that span to lead 44-38. The Lumberjacks began to chip away with a 12-4 run, culminating in 3-pointer by Antonio Bostic for a 50-48 lead.

Following a timeout with 3:16 remaining, Texas-Arlington ended the game with a 15-4 run to seal the win.

Bostic led the Lumberjacks with 14 points and eight rebounds. Shaq White-Miller, Jordan Reves and Cameron Catlett paced Texas Arlington with nine points each.
