Kyan Anderson scored 15 points and J.R. Cadot added 14 to lift TCU to a 77-72 victory over Lamar on Wednesday night.

The Horned Frogs (5-2) led most of the way, taking their largest lead of 12 points late in the first half.

Anderson made 7 of 12 from the field. Cadot shot 3 for 6 from the field and 8 of 12 from the free-throw line.

The Cardinals (4-3) went on a 10-1 run to close the gap early in the second half. They pulled ahead by three with 12:46 left when Charlie Harper made a layup and two free throws.

TCU quickly retook the lead and never gave it back.

Harper finished with 21 points and 10 rebounds. Anthony Miles also scored 21 for Lamar while Devon Lamb added 11.

Garlon Green scored with 12 points for TCU, Amric Fields added 10 and Craig Williams grabbed 13 rebounds.
