Dallis Joyner scored 16 points and Bryan Dougher added 15 to lead Stony Brook over Binghamton 67-42 on Sunday in the regular-season finale for both teams.

All of Dougher's points came on 3s and the Seawolves (13-16, 8-8 America East Conference) finished shooting 10 of 19 from long range.

Stony Brook was 7 of 10 from beyond the arc in the first half as part of a 60-percent shooting performance from the field (15 of 25) to build a 42-25 halftime lead.

The Seawolves opened the second half on a 9-2 run capped by Eric McAlister's layup with 15:11 to go. They extended their lead to as many as 30, 62-32, with 8:25 left.

Stony Brook, which had 12 of its 13 players score, secured the No. 5 seed in the conference tournament and will face No. 4 Maine on Saturday.

Greer Wright scored 11 points for the Bearcats (7-21, 4-11), who had their worst regular season in 10 years.
