Starks, Ware pace Bryant past Army 80-73

WEST POINT, N.Y. (AP) Dyami Starks finished with 23 points, Hunter Ware chipped in 17 and Bryant ended a four-game skid with an 80-73 victory over Army on Tuesday night.

The Bulldogs (2-5) shot 50 percent from the field and had five players in double figures. Starks and Ware each sank three of Bryant's eight 3-pointers. Andrew Scocca scored 11 points, while Dan Garvin and Joe O'Shea chipped in 10 apiece.

Kyle Wilson had 19 points for the Black Knights (6-2), who shot just over 50 percent but went 4 of 17 from deep. Kevin Ferguson added 15 points with 11 rebounds and Dylan Cox contributed 14 points and seven assists.

After pulling ahead with a 10-0 run midway through the first half, Bryant closed with a quick 6-0 surge after 3-pointers by O'Shea and Ware for a 42-31 halftime lead. Starks' jumper put the Bulldogs up by 20 with 7:13 remaining.
