Anthony Brown had 21 points and 11 rebounds and Jeremy Green scored 22 to help Stanford to a 77-66 nonconference victory over independent Seattle on Tuesday night.
Josh Owens added 13 points and six rebounds for the Cardinal, which nearly let a 16-point second-half lead slip away in the final moments before holding on for their second straight win.
Brown, a freshman, went 7 of 11 from the floor and matched his season high in scoring while recording his first career double-double for Stanford (15-14). Brown's rebounds, all on the defensive end, also were a season high.
Cervante Burrell and Alex Jones scored 15 points apiece for the Redhawks (11-18), who have lost six of nine under second-year coach Cameron Dollar.
