St. Francis (Pa) rallies to beat Bryant 63-57

LORETTO, Pa. (AP) Ronnie Drinnon scored the go-ahead basket and grabbed 15 rebounds to become the 16th player in school history to reach 700 boards and St. Francis (Pa) rallied to beat Bryant 63-57 on Thursday night.

Trailing 31-21 at halftime, St. Francis rallied to pull within 41-40 on Patrick Wrencher's jumper, but Bryant pulled away on a 10-2 run and led 55-46 with 6:18 left.

Drinnon's layup capped a 12-2 run and St. Francis pulled ahead 59-57 with 1:14 left. Malik Harmon and Ben Millaud-Meunier combined for four free throws down the stretch to ice it.

Basil Thomspon scored 16 points and made 11 of 12 free throws and Drinnon added 12 points for the Red Flash (11-1, 7-4 Northeast Conference). Josh Nebo and Millaud-Meunier added 10 apiece.

Marcel Pettway scored 18 points with a career-high 13 rebounds, and Nisre Zouzoua added 13 for Bryant (7-17, 4-7), which has lost six straight.
