Ricky Cadell scored 20 points and St. Francis defeated New Jersey Institute of Technology 72-47 on Thursday night.

The Terriers (7-5) controlled the ball, dishing out 17 assists while turning it over just eight times. The Highlanders (2-9) managed just seven assists compared to 15 turnovers.

Dre Calloway had eight assists for St. Francis, which snapped a two-game losing skid.

Akeem Bennett added 18 points on 7-of-13 shooting and nine rebounds and Stefan Perunicic chipped in 13 for the Terriers.

St. Francis led 35-23 at halftime, and shot 55.6 percent from the field in the second half (15 of 27) in giving NJIT its fifth straight loss.

The Highlanders made 10 of 33 shots in the second half (30.3 percent) and had just one player score in double figures. Jheryle Wilson paced NJIT with 19 points.
