Sterling Carter scored 28 points and Seattle made 11 3-pointers in the first 12 minutes en route to a 111-74 victory against travel-weary Longwood on Wednesday night.

Carter had three 3-pointers before two minutes elapsed and finished 8 of 16 from behind the arc for the Redhawks (11-15). Jarell Flora added 14 points and Louis Green and Chad Rasmussen 10 apiece.

As a team, Seattle was 11 of 38 (28.9 percent) from 3-point range.

Antwan Carter scored 28 points and Martiz Washington 21 for the Lancers (10-21), who ended their season with three games in five days on both coasts, at NJIT, Gonzaga and Seattle. Longwood was outscored 297-185 in the three defeats.

The Redhawks conclude their season at Portland State on Saturday, and both schools end an era as independents. They join new conferences on July 1, Longwood the Big South and Seattle the Western Athletic.
