Brandon Fortenberry and David Ndoumba scored 22 points each to lead Southeastern Louisiana to an 85-77 victory over Southern University on Saturday.

Ndoumba was 7 of 7 from the field and 8 of 10 from the free-throw line to go with eight rebounds and seven blocks. Fortenberry also was 8 for 10 from the line as Southeastern Louisiana (5-2) shot 76.5 percent (26 of 34).

The Lions led 60-47 with 12:29 to play, but the Jaguars (1-7) went on a 12-0 run, highlighted by two Blake Sanford 3-pointers, to cut the advantage to 60-59 with 8:51 left.

Southern took a 63-62 lead on Julius Ingram's layup with 7:09 left, but Ndoumba's dunk and Gary Dixon's jumper gave Southeastern Louisiana a 66-63 advantage with 5:21 remaining.

Deshawn Patterson added 14 points and Dixon had 11 for the Lions.

Ingram had 22 points and 10 rebounds and Sanford added 19 points for Southern.
