Damon Forest hit a jump shot with .4 seconds left to give Southeastern Louisiana a 70-68 win over Texas A&M-Corpus Christi on Wednesday night. Patrick Sullivan hit two free throws with 31 seconds to go to give Southeastern Louisiana (10-16, 4-9 Southland Conference) a 68-65 advantage. Kevin Palmer then hit three free throws for the Islanders (15-13, 9-4) to tie the game with 20 seconds on the clock. The Lions, who snapped a six-game losing streak, trailed by 17 points, 42-25, with 19:49 to play. Southeastern Louisiana shot 53.3 percent in the second half (16-for-30), while the Islanders were 6-for-18 from the field in the frame (33.3 percent). Sullivan scored 17 points and Warrell Span tallied 16 for the Lions. Chris Cyprian and Forest added 10 each. The Islanders were led by Kevin Palmer with 19 points and Shamar Coombs with 11.
