Adrian Oliver set two school records and tied a third by scoring 42 points in San Jose State's 95-62 thumping of Puget Sound on Wednesday night.

Oliver set the record for most points in a half when he scored 30 in the first period. He went on to add 12 more in the second half to get the record for points in a game for the Spartans (8-3).

The senior guard also made seven 3-pointers, tying the school record.

Oliver finished shooting 12 of 15 from the field. He also made 11 of 13 from the free-throw line.

The Spartans led 55-29 at halftime and by as many as 37 points late in the game.

Kaleb Shelton led the Loggers (5-5) with 20 points while Edric Egberuare added 17.

Justin Graham chipped in with 19 points for the Spartans and Brylle Kamen scored 15.
