Devin Ginty made 5 of 6 free throws in the final 25 seconds and San Diego held on for a 67-64 victory over Utah on Saturday in the seventh-place game of the Diamond Head Classic.

The Toreros (3-10), who picked up their first win over a Division I opponent, were led by Jordan Mackie's 14 points. Ginty added 13 and Darian Norris 12.

Will Clyburn scored 19 points, Jason Washburn 16 and Jay Watkins 13 for the Utes (7-6).

Washburn's two free throws tied it 60-60 with 1:31 left, but Chris Manresa was fouled on San Diego's next possession and converted both free throws to put his team up for good.

Watkins drew the Utes within a point twice in the final 12 seconds. But Ginty, who was 7 of 8 from the line, preserved the victory.

Josh Watkins' 3-pointer at the buzzer was no good.
