Saint Louis comes back to beat Bradley 60-57

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas (AP) Austin McBroom nailed a 3-point jumper with 7.4 seconds remaining to give Saint Louis a 60-57 victory over Bradley in the consolation game of the Corpus Christi Coastal Classic on Saturday.

Warren Jones had a chance to tie but his 3-point attempt was off the mark.

Bradley led throughout the first half and was ahead 34-27 at the break.

The Billikens, who outscored Bradley 33-23 in the final period, took their first lead when Milik Yarbrough split a pair of free throws with 8:48 left in the game. Yarbrough followed with a layup and McBroom nailed a 3-point jumper for a 51-47 advantage at the 6:01 mark.

McBroom led all scorers with a career-high 26 points, making 6 of 9 from beyond the arc. Yarbrough and Brett Jolly had 10 each for Saint Louis (4-2).

Jones had 17 points, Auston Barnes add 12 and Josh Cunningham had 11 for Bradley (2-4).
