Sacred Heart 82, Holy Cross 79
Ryan Litke scored 19 points and Liam Potter had his second straight double-double in Sacred Heart's 82-79 win over Holy Cross on Tuesday night.
Potter scored 11 points and grabbed 13 rebounds, Corey Hassan added 18 points and Chauncey Hardy chipped in 13 for the Pioneers (7-4), who won their second straight coming from behind.
Sacred Heart trailed 58-47 with 11:50 to play before scoring nine straight points to pull within 58-56 with 9:44 remaining.
The score remained close until Hassan's layup put the Pioneers ahead 66-65 with 5:50 left for their first lead since 5:14 remained in the first half.
The teams traded leads before Jerrell Thompson's basket put Sacred Heart ahead 76-74 with 1 minute left. Litke then made two free throws with 32 seconds to go and the Crusaders didn't challenge the rest of the way.
R.J. Evans led the Crusaders (2-9) with 20 points.
