Radford wallops Central Penn 119-69, has 4 in double digits
RADFORD, Va. (AP) Cam Jones scored a career-best 22 points on 10 of 12 shooting and Radford placed four in double-digit scoring as it defeated Central Penn College 119-69 on Sunday.
R.J. Price scored 16 points, Kyle Noreen added a career-high 14 and YaYa Anderson added 11 as the Highlanders (9-4) made 70 percent of their shots (47 of 67) while pounding the smaller Knights of the USCAA.
Radford also made 10 of 15 3-pointers, outrebounded Central Penn 51-22 and outscored the Knights 64-36 in the paint and 64-12 in points off the bench.
Javonte Green, with two steals, set the Radford record for 196 career.
Andre Batte led the Knights (8-5), who tied early but never led, with 27 points.
Noreen scored just 1:07 into the game to put Radford up for good, and the Highlanders led by as many as 60 in the second half.
