James Johnson made seven 3-point field goals and scored 23 points as Quinnipiac beat Niagara 88-63 Wednesday night.

Deontay Twyman contributed career highs of 19 points, seven assists and seven rebounds for the Bobcats (8-2), who won their fourth in a row. Dominique Langston added his first career double-double with 10 points and 12 rebounds while Justin Rutty added 12 points and eight rebounds.

The Bobcats outrebounded their 10th straight opponent to begin the season, with a 51-45 advantage on the boards. Quinnipiac made 12 3-point field goals, the most since the Bobcats made 12-of-28 in a double-overtime win against Hartford on Nov. 11, 2007.

Marvin Jordan led four Purple Eagles (3-9) in double figures with 17 points. Kashief Edwards added 14 points and a team-high nine rebounds, while Anthony Nelson and Kevon Moore had 11 points apiece.
