Jamee Jackson scored 20 points and James Johnson added 13, including sinking a pair of free throws with 15 seconds left, solidifying Quinnipiac's 62-58 win over Vermont on Sunday.

It was close all the way through, as Vermont led 30-29 at the break. But the Bobcats (5-4) pushed slightly ahead in the second half and Johnson's 3-pointer put them up 57-53 with 2:33 remaining.

The Catamounts (4-6) cut it to three, 59-56, when Josh Elbaum hit a pair of foul shots. When Quinnipiac's Davey Johnson went just 1 of 2 from the line, Brian Voelkel hit both his foul shots to pull Vermont within two, 60-58, with 16 seconds to go.

Then Johnson got the chance to seal it on his two shots from the line.
