Kris Dunn surprised many when he decided to return to Providence for a junior season. After battling through shoulder injuries his first two years, Dunn stuffed the stat sheet on a nightly basis, earning Big East co-Player of the Year honors with Villanova's Ryan Arcidacono.

Dunn coming back to the Friars not only puts him in the national player of the year conversation, but it also means Providence has a shot at a third consecutive NCAA tournament appearance. However, that also depends on the development of Dunn's supporting cast.
