Princeton tops Brown 83-59, remains unbeaten in Ivy League

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) Spencer Weisz scored 16 points and made four of Princeton's five 3-point shots in an 83-59 defeat of Brown on Friday night.

Princeton (12-4, 2-0 Ivy League) won its fifth-straight game. Weisz scored a 3-pointer on the opening possession, then grabbed the rebound of a Brown miss and dropped a second trey, staking the Tigers to a quick 6-2 lead and they never trailed, up 37-21 by halftime and outscoring Brown (5-12, 0-3) 46-38 in the second half.

Henry Caruso added 13 points with five rebounds and two steals and Devin Cannady added 12 points. Steven Cook dished five assists and Pete Miller led with eight rebounds.

Steven Spieth led the Bears with a career-high 24 points, his first game this season scoring more than 17, as he shot 7-for-7 from the floor and 9 of 10 at the foul line.
