Princeton drubs Lipscomb, 78-64

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) Henry Caruso scored 24 points and Spencer Weisz finished with 21 points, including 5 of 10 from 3-point range, to help lead Princeton to a 78-64 win over Lipscomb on Saturday.

Caruso hit 8 of 19 from the field and had a game-high 12 rebounds. Weisz added an 11-rebound effort and Pete Miller finished with 12 points and 10 boards for Princeton (5-2). It was the first time in school history three players registered a double-double in a single game.

Princeton led 40-34 at halftime and opened the second period on a 10-2 run, capped by a Weisz layup, to take a 50-36 lead. The Tigers extended their lead to a game-high 20 points (74-54) after Weisz's fifth 3-pointer of the night with 5:11 left.

J.C. Hampton scored 25 points to lead Lipscomb (4-9). The Bisons shot just 35 percent from the field.
