Dan Mavraides and Douglas Davis scored 16 points apiece and Princeton rallied from an early 11-point deficit to defeat Bucknell 66-55 on Tuesday night.

Trailing 24-13 with 7:33 left in the first half, the Tigers (2-2) went on a nine-point run. Mavraides scored eight unanswered points in the final 3:51 to give Princeton a 30-26 halftime lead in the O'Reilly Auto Parts CBE Classic.

The Tigers led by as many as 13 in the second half, but Bucknell (2-4) closed to 52-50 with 4:44 left on a jumper by G.W. Boon, who finished with 17 points. After a five-point Princeton spurt, the Bison could get no closer than four the rest of the way.

Princeton, which came into the game allowing opponents to shoot 48.9 percent from the field, held Bucknell to 38.6 percent (22 of 57), including 32.3 percent in the second half (10 of 31).

The Tigers made 21 of 49 field goals (42.9 percent).
