Nemanja Mitrovic scored 20 points and Jared Stohl added 16 points as Portland never trailed in a 71-55 victory over Seattle on Saturday night.

The Pilots (17-7) jumped on Seattle early. Stohl and Mitrovic had back-to-back 3-pointers as Portland surged to a 10-0 lead. A pass from Luke Sikma to Mitrovic for a dunk gave the Pilots a 14-2 lead.

Aaron Broussard accounted for most of the Redhawks' early offense and kept the game from getting out of hand. He scored 11 consecutive points for Seattle and sparked a run that allowed the Redhawks to close the deficit to 27-23. Portland led 34-26 at halftime.

Broussard had all 15 of his points before the break for Seattle (8-15). Sterling Carter led the Redhawks in the game with 16.

Sikma had 10 points and eight rebounds for Portland, which shot 55 percent from the field.
