Nemanja Mitrovic scored 16 points - all on 3-pointers and free throws - to lead Portland to a 58-54 victory over Montana on Friday night.
Luke Sikma added 13 points and Kramer Knutson 10 for the Pilots (7-2), who shot 55.0 percent (22 of 40).
Will Cherry led the Grizzlies (3-3) with 15 points. Brian Qvale had 11 and Billy Reader 10.
Montana was hurt by its 3-point shooting, converting only 4 of 18 (22.2 percent).

Portland ran out to an early 12-point lead, going up 19-7 on Mitrovic's 3-pointer with 13:39 left in the first half. But Montana closed within 32-29 at the break.
The Grizzlies held a 40-36 lead with 14:45 left, but Derrick Rodgers made a free throw and Mitrovic nailed consecutive 3-pointers to put Portland ahead for good.
