Pepperdine 94, San Francisco 88
Lorne Jackson scored 23 points to lead five Pepperdine players in double figures as part of a 94-88 victory over San Francisco on Saturday night.
The Waves (9-15, 3-4 West Coast) shot a season-high 54.7 percent from the field, taking the lead for good a little more than a minute before halftime. They led by as many as 14 points in the second half.
The win denied the Dons (11-11, 5-2) a chance to tie for first place in the conference after Saint Mary's dropped its first West Coast game earlier in the day.
Mychel Thompson and Keion Bell added 18 points each for the Waves while Joshua Lowery scored 15 and Taylor Darby 11.
Moustapha Diarra scored a career-high 26 points for San Francisco. Rashad Green added 21 points and a game-high nine rebounds for the Dons while Marko Petrovic scored 18 and Cody Doolin 10.
