Tommy Freeman scored 20 points and became Ohio's all-time leader in 3-pointers as the Bobcats defeated Bowling Green 70-60 Wednesday night.

Freeman hit 5 of 12 shots from the field, and every one he made was a 3-pointer, giving him 244 for his career. The Bobcats (15-13, 7-6 Mid-American Conference) trailed 32-30 at halftime, but never were behind by more than four points. They took the lead for good on Freeman's fourth 3-pointer, 49-47 with 7:52 left and went on to their third straight win and seventh in nine games.

The Falcons (12-16, 7-6) seldom got second opportunities in losing their fourth straight. The Bobcats outrebounded them 42-25 as Reggie Kelly and DeVaughn Washington each grabbed 12. Washington had his seventh career double-double by adding 10 points, a scoring output matched by teammate Ivo Baltic.

Craig Sealey's 14 points led Bowling Green.
