Shamir Davis had all 19 of his points in the second half and Northwestern State rallied to beat Central Methodist 89-79 on Monday night.
The Demons (7-5) trailed 77-73 against the NAIA school with 3:58 left, before ending the game on a 16-2 run.
The Eagles (5-7), who turned it over eight times in the second half for 13 points, gave it away three times during the spurt. William Mosley capped the Demons' winning run on a dunk with 5 seconds left.
William Mosley added 14 points and 12 rebounds for Northwestern State, which beat Central Methodist's Heart of America Athletic Conference mate Missouri Valley 85-39 on Saturday.
Louis Ellis added 14 points, James Hulbin 11 and Demetrice Jacobs 10 for the Demons.
Central Methodist was led by Elliott Black with 21 points. Melvin Tillman added 17 points on 7-of-11 shooting for the Eagles.
