Devon Baker and Will Pratt scored 22 points each to lead Northwestern State to an 83-70 comeback victory against Centenary on Monday night.

Baker, who scored all but one of his points in the second half for the Demons (3-2), got seven during an 18-0 run that turned a 64-61 deficit into a 79-64 lead.

A 3-pointer during that run by Shamir Davis, who finished with 10 points, gave Northwestern State a lead it never relinquished.

Northwestern State, which trailed 38-30 at halftime, forced the Gentlemen (0-5) into 15 turnovers in the final 20 minutes.

Maxx Nakwaasah scored 19 and freshman Logan Lowery a career-best 15 for Centenary, which outshot Northwestern State 60 percent (15 of 25) to 35 percent (7 of 20) in the first half.

The victory was Northwestern State's 1,300th all-time against 1,029 losses.
