North Florida overwhelms Trinity Baptist 106-60

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) Romelo Banks was 9 of 11 from the floor to score 26 points as North Florida stopped a four-game losing skid with a 106-60 victory over Trinity Baptist on Tuesday night.

Dallas Moore was 4 of 6 from long range for 19 points, Demarcus Daniels and Aaron Bodager had 12 apiece, and Chris Davenport added 11 with eight steals for North Florida (8-9).

The Ospreys jumped out to an early lead, were up 61-33 at the half and held an 82-51 lead midway through the final period.

North Florida shot a scorching 66.7 percent from the floor (38 of 57), making 16 of 30 from beyond the arc, while limiting the Eagles to 24-of-63 shooting (38.2 percent).

Tyrell Johnson had 19 points, Kirk Hill added 11 and Ernest Johnson chipped in 10 for Trinity Baptist.
