Troy Huff scored 21 points, and North Dakota made 57 percent of its shots to pull away and defeat Chicago State 80-70 on Saturday.

Huff made 7 of 13 field-goal attempts and pulled down 10 rebounds for the Fighting Sioux (12-11, 5-2 Great West), winners of seven of their last nine games. Aaron Anderson scored 16 points and Patrick Mitchell and Jordan Allard had 10 each.

Carl Montgomery scored 21 points on 8-of-12 shooting for the Cougars (6-20, 3-6), who took their third straight loss. Antonio Lofton had 16 points and 10 rebounds.

The Fighting Sioux made 28 of 49 shots. They connected on 14 of 23 field-goal attempts (61 percent) in the second half to pull away from the Cougars, who had tied it at 42 shortly after halftime. Chicago State made 25 of 52 shots (48 percent).
