Patrick Mitchell hit all four of his 3-pointers and scored 18 points to lead North Dakota over Waldorf 77-46 on Friday.
Troy Huff also had 18 points for the Fighting Sioux (1-0), who opened the game with a 14-0 run and led 25-3 in the first half. They led 37-14 at halftime.
Rendon Dominguez led the Warriors (0-3) with 19 points and he hit three 3-pointers to start the second half. But Waldorf could get no closer than 18 points and Dominguez didn't have much help as North Dakota's bench outscored Waldorf 40-16.
