Troy Huff scored 22 points, 17 in the second half, as North Dakota came back to beat the South Dakota School of Mines 73-64 Thursday night.
Huff also had a game-high seven rebounds and scored 11 straight points in one stretch to put the Fighting Sioux (5-8) ahead 42-41 early in the second half. Huff had five 3-pointers in the game, one more than he had in North Dakota's first 12 games.
Patrick Mitchell contributed 14 points for North Dakota. His 3-pointer put the Sioux ahead for good at 63-60.
Kyle Doerr had 19 and Tanner Friesen 18 for the Hardrockers (8-8), members of NAIA who are moving up to NCAA Division II.
