No. 5 Pitt beats Indiana, Pa. 73-56

Brad Wanamaker, Travon Woodall and Lamar Patterson all scored 13 points and No. 5 Pittsburgh defeated Indiana, Pa., 73-56 in an exhibition game Thursday night.
Pitt coach Jamie Dixon played 10 players, including senior forward Gilbert Brown, who missed an earlier exhibition with a hamstring injury. Brown had five points and one rebound in 19 minutes.
Gary McGhee had 12 points and 11 rebounds for Pitt, which held a 39-32 rebounding edge. The Panthers open Monday night against Rhode Island in the Coaches vs. Cancer Classic.
Darryl Webb scored 19 points and Ashton Smith had 18 for IUP, last season's NCAA Division II runner-up. The Crimson Hawks were held to 36.8 percent shooting (21 of 57).
