No. 20 Gonzaga rolls past Pepperdine 86-61

SPOKANE, Wash. (AP) Lindsay Sherbert scored 19 points and Haiden Palmer was two assists shy of a triple double as No. 20 Gonzaga rolled to an 86-51 win over Pepperdine on Thursday.

Palmer had 12 points, 10 rebounds and a career-high eight assists for the Bulldogs (21-3, 11-1 WCC), who won their 11th straight. Shelby Cheslek had 12 points and 12 rebounds as Gonzaga owned the boards 48-26, including 19-4 on the offensive end. Keani Albanez had 13 points.

Keitra Wallace, who made 11 of 14 free throws, and Amanda Lovely had 13 points each for Pepperdine (5-17, 1-10), which became just the second visiting team to score more than 50 at Gonzaga this season.

The Bulldogs cooled off to 46.3 percent shooting but shot 54 percent (20 for 37) in opening a 45-24 halftime lead. They finished with 24 assists on 31 baskets.
