Chris Flores scored 20 points and PJ Miller added 14 points to lead New Jersey Institute of Technology over Division III Eastern Nazarene 76-43 Tuesday night.
Flores hit nine of his 15 shots to go along with six steals and two blocks.
Miller added seven assist while shooting 5-of-5 from the field.
Flores scored 12 points first-half points to help NJIT (1-1) lead 29-24 at intermission.
After Chima Ezeigbo's jumper with 16:10 left to play cut Eastern Nazarene's (0-1) deficit to 36-33, NJIT outscored the Lions 40-10 the rest of the way to blow open the game.
Ezeigbo led the Lions with 16 points, eight rebounds and three blocks.
Eastern Nazarene shot just 29.1 percent (19 of 64) compared to NJIT's 50 percent (32 of 64).
Daquan Holiday and Quentin Bastian each recorded three blocks for NJIT.
