New Mexico State jumps over Stetson 88-68

LAS CRUCES, N.M. (AP) DK Eldridge scored 17 points and Pascal Siakam and Daniel Mullings combined to pull down 32 rebounds as New Mexico State jumped over Stetson 88-68 on Monday night.

The Aggies had complete control of the boards, pulling down 62 rebounds, 38 off the offensive glass. Siakam snagged 17 rebounds and Mullings pulled down a career-high 15.

Stetson grabbed only 20 boards.

New Mexico State made 35 of 87 field goal attempts while limiting the Hatters to just 49 attempts. The Aggies dominated from the beginning, leading 30-17 midway of the second half and holding a 51-35 advantage at the break. They stretched that to 80-53 with 6:39 remaining in the game.

Tshilidzi Nephawe had 16 points while Remi Barry and Ian Baker had 13 apiece for New Mexico State (2-3).

Divine Myles had 20 points to lead Stetson (2-3). Brian Pegg added 14.
