LAS CRUCES, N.M. -- Remi Barry scored 15 points to lead a parade of teammates into double-figure scoring as New Mexico State defeated NAIA Northern New Mexico 78-39 on Monday night.

The Aggies (5-8) hit nearly half their shots (28 of 60) as they halted a three-game skid.

The visiting Eagles (6-10) scrapped through the first eight minutes, grabbing the lead four times before Barry hit a jumper with 11:46 left in the first half, for a 16-15 lead New Mexico State would only expand upon. The Aggies lead grew to 19 by halftime.

Pascal Siakam, DK Eldridge and Ian Baker all scored 13 for New Mexico State - Siakam with eight rebounds, Eldridge with six steals and Baker with three 3-pointers.
