Dylan Talley hit a jump shot with 10.4 seconds remaining to lift Nebraska to a 51-50 win over Florida Gulf Coast on Wednesday night.

Talley scored the final five points for Nebraska (5-3), hitting a 3-pointer with 3:06 left that put the Cornhuskers up 49-47. But the Eagles (3-6) got back in front at 50-49 on Christophe Varidel's 3-pointer with 1:21 left.

The teams traded misses before Talley hit the jumper off the drive. The Eagles called timeout to set up a final play but failed to get off a shot before the buzzer.

Talley led Nebraska with 14 points. Brandon Ubel had 10 points and 11 rebounds for the Huskers.

Sherwood Brown led Florida Gulf Coast with 14 points. Filip Cvjeticanin hit four 3-pointers to score 12 points for the Eagles.

The teams combined for 31 turnovers and each shot 40 percent for the game.
